The name change is the last step to finalize the integration of the three largest IT infrastructure suppliers in the Nordic countries which was merged in 2006 and the acquisition of the largest player in the Baltic countries in the beginning of 2008.
“We are the leading IT infrastructure player in our markets and we therefore find it natural to establish one common name so we more easily can communicate to all our customers, vendors, employees and investors who we are and what we do,” says Claus Hougesen, CEO Ementor ASA.
One common name will establish one corporate visual identity which will enable us to lower costs within marketing, eSHOP development and our websites. The common brand will maintain an agile profile of doing business and make it even easier to share successful business concepts and customer cases between countries. All in all the name change will bring more value to customers, vendors and investors and make it more interesting for our employees in the future.
“We have a clear ambition of continuously strengthening the Atea brand by positioning our company as the preferred specialist within IT-infrastructure with a unique eSHOP business model and the most competent and highly certified employees. Our company will have a strong local presence in each country and decisions close to our customers”, says Claus Hougesen.
The change of name is subject to approval by the general assembly in Ementor ASA, and an Extraordinary General Meeting is planned as of November 13, 2008 in Oslo.
