Atea has once again been recognized as one of the world’s 100 most sustainable companies in the Global 100 Index by Corporate Knights — marking the company’s fifth consecutive appearance on the prestigious ranking.
The Global 100 Index is widely regarded as one of the most respected and data‑driven evaluations of corporate sustainability worldwide. To be considered, companies must be publicly listed and generate over USD 1 billion in annual revenue.
Steinar Sønsteby, CEO of the Atea Group, comments: “Being recognized for the fifth consecutive year affirms the long-term direction we have taken as a company. Sustainability is integrated into every strategic decision we make — not as a parallel track, but as a core driver of innovation, competitiveness, and responsibility. We are proud to see that our efforts resonate globally, and we will continue to raise the bar together with our partners, employees, and customers.”
For 2026, Atea secured the 92nd place overall and, for the fifth year in a row, was ranked the world’s most sustainable company within the IT Services Division.
